We have been experiencing rough seas in the past few days. The king bite is improving and we are catching some with spoons, plugs and meat rigs. We start at daybreak fishing kings 40- 75 feet down in 100- 200 feet of water. The wind has prevailed from the West and a east/west troll has been most effective. When the king bite quits we have been targeting lake trout in 80-90 feet of water. Wire divers with meat rigs and lead cores with spoons and plugs are the most effective for the kings. In the evening we flip flop and start with lake trout and target kings as the sun sets.
