The water is starting to warm up and we are seeing some results. Most of the action is south of the pier heads. There was no clear pattern to speak of and if you caught fish one day don’t expect them to be there tomorrow. Sounds like Onekama is picking up some so we should be in for more action soon.
Steelhead and Lake trout can be found at the 35 line fishing the top 45 feet.
Still good catches of Lake Trout between the barrel and the golf course in 80 to 90 FOW
Fishing off Arcadia is starting to pick up. The best action is between 100 and 160 FOW straight out or off the golf course. Mostly 10 colors and dipsys. The deepest downrigger bit I hear of was 70 down. So concentrate on the top 50. Boat were taking small kings and 5 to 7 lb. steelhead. Almost all of the action was on spoons, the usual suspects. Get out there and give it a try. Please let us know if you are successful. Don’t forget that it’s tournament week. You can fish out of any of the ports. You can also enter the 333 only if you want. Time to test yourself against the fleet
Fishing in Arcadia has been slow so far. When I am able to contact members of my network I will give you an update.
